By accessing, using, or subscribing to LinguaLeap, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our service.

LinguaLeap is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) language learning platform that provides:

• AI-powered language tutoring and conversation practice
• Personalized learning assessments and progress tracking
• Interactive games and exercises for vocabulary and grammar
• Writing analysis and feedback tools
• Professional and domain-specific language modules
• Real-time learning analytics and achievement tracking

Our service utilizes artificial intelligence, including Google's Gemini AI, to generate personalized learning content, provide feedback, and enhance your language learning experience.

Age Requirements:

• Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• Users aged 13-17 require parental consent to use the service
• Users must be at least 18 years old to purchase subscriptions

Account Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• One account per person; sharing accounts is prohibited

LinguaLeap Pro Subscription:

• Monthly subscription fee: $8.99 USD per month
• Billing occurs monthly on the same date you subscribed
• Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled

Billing & Payment:

• Payment is due immediately upon subscription
• Failed payments may result in service suspension after 3 retry attempts
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

Cancellation Policy:

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• You retain access to Pro features until the end of your paid period
• No prorated refunds are provided for partial month usage

Account Deletion & Refunds:

Free Trial (if applicable):

• Free trials are limited to one per user
• Trial automatically converts to paid subscription unless cancelled
• Full subscription terms apply after trial period

Permitted Uses:

• Personal language learning and skill development
• Educational and professional development purposes
• Creating and tracking personal learning goals

Prohibited Activities:

• Sharing account credentials or allowing others to use your account
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract our algorithms
• Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service
• Circumventing usage limits or payment requirements
• Uploading malicious content or attempting to hack the service
• Using the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

Content Guidelines:

• Do not submit offensive, inappropriate, or harmful content
• Respect intellectual property rights of others
• We reserve the right to moderate and remove inappropriate content

AI-Generated Content:

• Our service uses artificial intelligence to generate learning content and feedback
• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inconsistencies
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
• Users should verify important information through additional sources

Content Accuracy:

• While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee error-free content
• Report any significant errors or inappropriate content to our support team
• We continuously improve our AI models but cannot eliminate all inaccuracies

Data Collection:

• We collect learning progress, performance data, and usage analytics
• Account information and preferences are stored securely
• Payment information is processed by Stripe and not stored on our servers

Third-Party Services:

• Google Firebase for authentication and data storage
• Google Gemini AI for content generation and analysis
• Stripe for payment processing and subscription management
• These services have their own privacy policies that also apply

Data Rights:

• You may request access to your personal data
• You may request correction of inaccurate data
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data
• Data export options are available through your account settings

User Content:
